SERVICES OVERVIEW

Internists are doctors for adults. After medical school, we’ve completed a three-year residency in Internal Medicine focusing on the scientific basis of diagnosis and treatment of acute illness, complex chronic conditions, and mental health disorders. We are primary care physicians and can provide and manage your outpatient care. While we all have extensive experience monitoring patients in the hospital, our Northwest office currently utilize the Legacy Hospitalist Physicians for inpatient care. Some examples of the services we provide are as follows:

Management of chronic diseases, such as:

• Diabetes
• Arthritis
• Heart disease and lung disease
• Asthma

Preventative care, such as:

• Physicals (routine, sports/camp/D.O.T)
• Women’s health exams (including pap smears)
• Immunizations
• Risk factor assessment

Diagnosis and treatment of common problems, such as:

• Infections
• Injuries and pain conditions
• Skin conditions and allergies
• Depression and anxiety

ADDITIONAL IN-OFFICE CLINICAL SERVICES

  • Laboratory services
  • EKG’s
  • Sleep Studies
  • Holter and event monitors (tests to find abnormal heart rhythms)

PRESCRIPTION REFILLS

Please call your pharmacy regarding all prescription refills at least two business days in advance. Your pharmacist will then contact us. If there are any problems refilling your prescription, then we will give you a call. Please allow additional time around weekends and holidays.

ON-CALL COVERAGE

We provide on-call physician coverage 24 hours per day, 7 days per week. If you need to contact a physician after regular clinic hours, please call our medical office and you will be directed to leave your message with our answering service. The answering service will then forward your message to the on-call doctor, who will return your call. If it is an emergency, please call 911.
